Concealed Carry Handgun Class

Date: Saturday, March 12, 2022

Time: Starts at 9:00 am

Cost: $70 per person (Pay Cripple Creek Parks and Recreation prior to 3/11/22) – Minimum 10 participants

Location: Victor Elk’s Club – 367 N 3rd, Victor, CO 80860

Maximum of 25 students so register ASAP

The class will be held at Victor Elk’s Lodge and it will satisfy the class requirement for the Colorado state concealed carry permit. You must be 21 years old to attend. There will be 3 1/2 hours of classroom training in the morning, and 1 to 2 hours of range shooting in the afternoon. Please bring your own handgun (.22LR only), ammo, and eye & ear protection. If you don’t have your own handgun and can’t borrow one, let us know in advance so other arrangements can be made for you.

Our instructors:

Robert Tyler is the Colorado director of the Civilian Marksmanship Program, a Certified NRA Level 3 coach, head of the Teller County 4-H Shooting Sports, and coach at the Olympic Training Center Junior Club.  He has over 30 years experience as a coach and instructor.

Randy Ford is a retired Town Marshal and is still a part time detective. He has a total of 18 years law enforcement experience and is retired from the US Army.  From 2004 to 2006, he trained Police Officers and taught military subjects in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait.
