Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. It’s a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Pickleball can be played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Pickleball is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes and can be played as doubles or singles.
Steve Smith is an experienced pickleball player and is willing to teach his skills to anyone who wants to learn the game. Give Parks and Recreation a call to set up a practice schedule with Steve and join the fastest growing sport in America.
