Gold Camp Trail
You can almost hear the burdened footsteps of hopeful miners making their way through Poverty Gulch as you enjoy Gold Camp Trail. This year round, non-motorized trail offers a unique view of area historic sites and a functioning mining operation. Start at the Cripple Creek Welcome Center, (offering convenient off-street parking) the Laura Bridge on South Second Street, or the top of Hoosier Mine Pass. Trail visitors should be prepared for a variety of weather conditions, an altitude of over 9,000 feet and some steep terrain.
