Mountain View Adventure Park
Mountain View Adventure Park
With special funding from the Colorado Lottery and the City of Cripple Creek, we are proud to present our community with the new Mountain View Adventure Park. The new park is located on County Road 89 at the existing site of our renovated BMX track. Bring the family out for a day of fun. Enjoy one of the many new amenities we have to offer. Choose from Adventure Playground, Disc Golf, Sledding Hill, BMX Track, Dog Park or our 2.5K Hiking/Biking Trail. Or you can simply pack a lunch and enjoy the fresh mountain air at our Picnic Shelter.
Adventure Playground
Bring the kids out to the new playground. We’ve got some great new equipment that is sure to give them hours of enjoyment. Bring a lunch and spend quality time as a family.
Disc Golf Course
Challenge your friends or co-workers to a little friendly competition at our brand new 18 hole disc golf course. This course was designed to take in all of the beauty of the surrounding area. Play with your own set of discs, or stop by Parks and Recreation and rent a set from us for a $10 deposit.
Sledding Hill
Cripple Creek Parks and Recreation has added some winter fun to our Adventure Park. We now have a hill dedicated to sledding/tubing. So, please stop by, weather permitting, and enjoy the thrill sledding has to offer. Also, remember to dress in layers and wear sun screen as the Colorado weather can change at anytime. Please note, this is a use at your own risk activity.
Mountain View BMX Track
Our BMX track received a little extra attention in 2017. Come enjoy the scenery on the improved mountain track, located just past the Cripple Creek Public Works Department on Co Rd 89. Use of the track is FREE. The track offers challenging BMX excitement and is home to our annual BMX Races.
Dog Park
Is your “best friend” in need of some free space? Our new Dog Park is just the place for him/her. We welcome all well-behaved dogs of any breed and their owners to enjoy our new park. All dogs must be on a leash until inside the unleashing area. We ask that you please clean up after your dog. We provide waste bags on site.
Hiking/Biking Trail
Cripple Creek Parks and Recreation has designed a 2.5 K Trail that can be used for hiking or biking. Do the trail twice for a 5K experience. For a challenge, on the second loop, take the trail in the opposite direction.
